Who I help and what I do
I work for homeowners and landlords across Barnsley and South Yorkshire, from my base in Elsecar. Most of my work is on the houses this area is built from: stone terraces, Victorian and Edwardian slate roofs, 1930s semis and post-war estates.
Slate and pitched roofing is where I'm at my best, whether that's replacing a few slipped slates or stripping and re-roofing a whole house. I also fit flat roofs in EPDM rubber, felt and GRP fibreglass, and handle repairs, fascias and soffits, guttering, repointing and chimney work.
After 23 years in the trade, I've seen what fails on roofs round here and why. That means I can usually tell you quickly whether a roof needs a repair or a replacement, and I'll give you photos so you can see it for yourself.
